Blackpool sign former Rochdale and Liverpool midfielder Jordan Williams

The 24-year-old spent the last two seasons with League One rivals Rochdale and made 68 appearances, 56 of them in the EFL.
A Wales Under-21 international, Williams is a product of the Liverpool academy and so is well-known to Blackpool boss Neil Critchley and his assistant Mike Garrity.

Hide AdWhile at Anfield, Williams had loan spells with Notts County, Swindon Town and with Dale before his permanent switch in 2018.
Williams, whose Rochdale contract expired this summer, told the Blackpool FC website; “I’m delighted to have finally signed and can’t wait to get going now.
“I spoke to the gaffer and Mike Garrity about the possibility of joining and I jumped at the chance. To work under Neil and Mike again will be great.
"They are two great coaches and can really bring the best out of players. I’m confident, that with the squad they are building here we will have a successful season at the club.”
