Blackpool fell silent at 11am to remember those who died fighting for their country.

This year, Remembrance Day marks 100 years since the end of the First World War.

A civic procession made its way from the Town Hall to the resort's war memorial before the annual service began.

It ended with a two-minute silence and wreaths being laid in honour of Blackpool's war heroes.
