TEAM work has helped transform a pond-side pavilion at a high school Over Wyre.
Pupils at St Aidan's CE Technology College in Preesall carried out the work as part of an enterprise challenge.
The group of Year 10 students didn't just tidy the area up; they worked out what materials they need, how much it would cost and how to obtain them.
Having presented their Power Point designs and drawings to the school leadership team and Parents and Teachers Association, their designs were approved, work was put into place and renovations began.
Their work paid off – now they have helped create a bright, colourful, clean place to work.
Their hard work will also help them complete challenges for bronze and silver awards from the ASDAN U Choose programme.
The students involved in the pavilion initiative were Jemma Burman, Ben Curtis, Sean Whitehead, Robert Smallshaw and Gabrielle McPhee.
Staff member Terri Vaselli said: "The finished pavilion looks fantastic and classes have already enjoyed working in the new environment."
