Police set their sights on vandals

POLICE in Poulton will be out in force this weekend in an effort to target criminal damage in the resort.
Officers will be visiting known areas of trouble to deal with all forms of criminal damage offences from the more extreme acts of vandalism to low level damage as part of Lancashire Constabulary's Operation Summer Nights campaign.
PC Ian Lester, one of the town's community beat managers, said: "We are determined to reduce the number of criminal damage and other anti-social behaviour offences by working with our partners and using every means available to us."
