MYSTERY still surrounds a fire which devastated a Poulton nightclub.
Investigators have not yet established the cause of the blaze at Club Monaco on January 21 and, as yet, are unable to say whether or not the fire was started deliberately.
Forensic scientists have now been called in and sources say investigators are examining the possibility an electrical fault was to blame.
The fire closed Poulton's main shopping area, the Teanlowe Centre, while recovery works took place.
