TWO fundraising events are being held for a Poulton man who is seriously ill in Thailand.
Ryan Neal, 23, has been seriously ill in hospital since April 5, when he was involved in a hit and run in Thailand.

At the weekend, Brian Rose, Blackpool's undefeated light middleweight boxing sensation, collected for his childhood pal Ryan at his fight in Wigan.

And next Saturday, former snooker partner Warren Stephenson is taking up his cue at Rileys in Blackpool town centre for a 24-hour snooker-thon.

Brian moved to Blackpool from Birmingham as a child and Ryan was his first friend.

Ryan's parents, of Holts Lane, Poulton, were releived to hear Ryan had opened his eyes recently, but they are desperate for him to fully regain consciousness.
