Fatal traffic accident in Poulton

A MAN has died in a serious traffic accident in Poulton.
The fatal accident occured at around 11pm last night on the A585, between Norcross roundabout and River Wyre roundabout.
It is believed a car and a lorry collided head-on.
Police have not released any details of the dead man's identity, nor of the other motorist involved.
The road has remained closed this morning.
Specialist equipment will be called upon to clear the scene and police have warned there will be "considerable disruption" in the area until midday today.
