4,000 parking tickets issued at Teanlowe

POULTON and Lytham are the parking ticket hot spots for Fylde and Wyre, it has been revealed.
More than 7,000 tickets have been dished out in Lytham's Pleasant Street and Lytham Green car parks since local authorities took over parking enforcement in 2004.

Car park fine hotspots - List

In Wyre, figures for the same period reveal almost 4,000 tickets have been handed out at Poulton's Teanlowe Centre over the same period.

Our ratepaying 12,000 + residence of Thornton, never see a traffic Warden in our area. One can park in Bus Bays, Taxi Ranks,on double Yellow Lines, double Park, leave engines running whilst away from the vehicle, park on footpaths/ corners, disable bays, within the perameters of a pedestrian crossing. Alright enough is enough but that is why we have traffic problems. I am all for tickets being dished out to drivers who don't give a dam they just look after their own needs, selfish, inconsiderate. Come on W.B.C. lets have some action in Thornton.
