Woman injured in crash which left van overturned in Blackpool town centre

Emergency services were called at around 10.15pm last night to the crash at the junction of Coronation Street and Albert Road.

Police said: "One woman was taken to hospital. Her condition was not described as serious."

A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said two people, a man and a woman, were hurt in the crash, but only the woman required hospital treatment. They said: "(There were) two potential patients. But having said that, only one looks like they were taken to hospital, a woman in her 30s, it doesn’t look like she suffered life-threatening injuries."
