A woman accused of barging into the bedroom of another woman’s home in Blackpool while she was in bed and repeatedly punching her head has made her first appearance in court.
Amy Monteith, 25, of Bold Street, Fleetwood, is charged with burgling an address in Devonshire Road with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm on July 15.
Martine Connah, prosecuting asked for the case to be heard at crown court.
Suzanne Mugford, defending, said her client had indicated she would plead not guilty to the alleged offence.
Monteith was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on April 8 by District Judge Huw Edwards sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
