Rush hour commuters were hit with delays on Friday evening after a road accident between a truck and a car.
The truck was knocked over in the collision, which happened on Shard Road in Hambleton at around 3.45pm on Friday, and the car, a Rover, ended up in a ditch.
The female Rover driver had to be cut free from the vehicle by the fire service and was suffering from a leg injury. The man driving the truck suffered broken bones.
Shard Road was closed at its junction with Bull Park Lane while police cleared the scene.
Police are investigating the incident.
A spokesman for Garstang and Over Wyre police said: “Thanks to the members of public who stopped at the scene and provided assistance to the drivers until emergency services arrived.”
