Rarely seen photographs of Fleetwood in bygone times has been unveiled at Fleetwood Museum.
The newly-unearthed images show Fleetwood’s historical past and also family occasions.
The pictures were shown following the Friends of Fleetwood Museum Annual General Meeting.
Presenter Dick Gillingham said: “There are about 75 photos which have been dug out of the archives, many from old newspapers.
“Some of the pictures were a suprise for a couple of members of the audience – photos which are personal to them. There are others which show the port, and there’s a collection relating to the beach and local churches. But quite a few show families and people, too.”
The Museum also hosted an illustrated talk on Medieval Deer Parks by visiting speaker Graham Cooper.
For a small annual fee, members receive free admission to the museum, invitations to museum events and discounts at the shops.
