Police are on the hunt for new community support officers (PCSOs) to help keep people safe across Lancashire.

Officers will work closely with their communities to stop speeding outside schools, report vandalism and stamp down on antisocial behaviour.

Applicants do not need any formal qualifications, but must be resilient and friendly.

People who are interested in becoming PCSOs are asked to apply online at http://socsi.in/kmJ6O. The online form will go ‘live’ at 10am on Thursday. All applications must be submitted by noon on March 4.
