Spectators dressed in red, white and blue waved Union flags as the parade set off from St Annes Square, before heading into Ashton Gardens for a day of entertainment and music from the Lytham St Annes Shanty Band, Fylde Ukelele Network and the St Annes Rock Choir.
Here are some of the best pictures of the event, which continues in the gardens today with a best-dressed dog competition, children’s races, a tug of war competition and music from Lancashire Belle.
