Spring is in the air at Fleetwood’s local farm with the early arrival of new lambs.

The two lambs are orphans and have been adopted by Farmer Parrs from another local sheep farm because they need bottle feeding.

And at just a few days old, they are still being fed round the clock.

Sophie Wells, marketing manager at the Fleetwood attraction said: “They are being fed four time a day at the moment, including a night feed but that will gradually decrease as they get stronger over the next month.

“They have been named Colin and Keith and its normal for us to sometimes take in pet lambs at this time of the year so that visiting children can help to feed them.

“In no time at all they will be galloping around!”

Children can have the chance to feed the lambs over the next couple of months and the farm is also hoping to have some chicks hatching in time for half-term.
