Police hunting a yob who damaged cars in Fleetwood have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.

The vandalism happened in the early hours of Sunday, March 22 in Copse Road.

A substantial amount of damage has been caused to numerous vehicles affecting both businesses

Lawton’s of Fleetwood garage was targeted by a man who smashed the driver’s side windows of seven cars causing around £700 damage.

He also smashed up buses at the Archer Travel depot, damaging windows and causing more than £200 worth of damage.

PC Victoria Reed of Fleetwood Police said: “A substantial amount of damage has been caused to numerous vehicles affecting both businesses. We are keen to trace the man in the CCTV image and would encourage anyone with information to get in touch as soon as possible.

“The man was wearing a distinctive hooded jumper with what looks like a running man motif on the front.

“Do you recognise it and know the identity of the man? Please call us on 101.”

The incident happened around 5.20am.
