A FORMER Fleetwood High School pupil is getting set for this year’s London Marathon.
Lancaster University graduate Heather Widdup, 23, will raise funds for the NSPCC.
She said: “I did about 18 miles and I was exhausted – my whole body just ached. I’m a little excited and also terrified.”
Heather left Lancaster with a degree in international relations and went on to gain a Master’s degree in human rights law at Brunel University.
She is currently working in London as a researcher for the Kurdish Human Rights Project.
