Daring wingwalkers will perform a series of breathtaking rolls and loops high above the Fylde coast as a popular airshow returns.
The Breitling Wingwalkers will take to the skies at Blackpool Airshow tomorrow and Monday with daring wingwalkers performing acrobatics on the wings.
The world’s only formation wingwalking display team is renowned for dazzling spectators at events throughout Europe and beyond.
Recent trips have seen the team displaying in front of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai,
at Aero India in Bangalore and in Japan for the Iwakuni Friendship Day.
The airshow event, which will feature the final ever North West appearance of the Vulcan XH558, is from 1.30pm to 4.30pm with further displays on Monday.
The picture of the Vulcan was kindly supplied by Russell Wood showing it in action.
It is the last flying example of Britain’s V-Force and the last of the great four-engined all-British jets from a remarkable period of Cold War innovation.
