Police in new bid to find crash driver

Police are continuing to appeal for information after a driver fled the scene of a collision on Park Lane, Preesall on Saturday.

As reported in Monday’s Gazette, a silver Mercedes CLK had collided with a building at around 12.30am on Saturday, near to the junction with Burned House Lane.

This resulted in extensive damage to both the car and building.

A 19-year-old male passenger suffered serious injuries to his back, and is currently being treated at the Royal Preston 
Hospital.

He is described as serious but stable.

It is believed the driver fled the scene of the collision, and officers are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Lancashire Police on 101.
