POLICE are appealing for information and have released an Evofit image after a man indecently exposed himself to a woman in Poulton.

At around 12:20pm on July 28, the 49-year-old victim, who uses an electric wheelchair, was travelling through the alleyway which runs along the side of Hodgson High School between Moorland Road and Haworth Crescent when a man blocked her path.

As she asked to pass he made an obscene comment towards her and exposed himself but the victim was able to push past the man and she left the scene.

PC Rachel Bibby said, “Fortunately, the victim was able to get away but she was left feeling extremely vulnerable and shaken by the incident and so we are very keen to speak to anyone that may have any information to help us trace the person responsible.

“We have released an Evofit of a man we are looking to speak to in connection with the offence and I would ask anyone that thinks they might recognise the man in the image to contact us.

“If anyone has any information, I would ask them to contact us as soon as possible by calling 101 and quoting log number LC-20130728-0750.”

People with information can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or on-line at Crimestoppers-uk.org.

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
