A man who had drunk a huge amount of alcohol punched a stranger in the face on the street after being told he did not have a cigarette.
Christopher Dickson admitted split the man’s lip and knocked him to the floor.
Dickson, 22, of London Street, Fleetwood, was bailed.
He will be sentenced at a later date by Blackpool magistrates.
Philip Potter, prosecuting, said a man was walking along Talbot Road when Dickson came up and asked him for a smoke on December 29 at 1am.
The victim said he did not have one and Dickson punched him. Trevor Colebourne, defending, said: “He has now moved to Fleetwood and finds it more serene and peaceful.”
