Man faces burglary charges
A man accused of two offences of burglary in Blackpool has made his first appearance before a magistrates’ court.
Peter Rady, 45, of Highfield Road, South Shore, is charged with burgling a house on Common Edge Road, Marton, and stealing a purse.
He is further charged with taking a chisel in the burglary of an industrial unit on Squires Gate Lane, South Shore.

Hide AdThe incidents are alleged to have taken place on Saturday, January 31
Prosecutor, Pam Smith, asked for the case to be heard at crown court.
Defence lawyer, Steven Townley, did not ask for bail for his client.
Rady was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court on February 18 by Blackpool magistrates.
