Man charged with drink-driving after road traffic collision in Fleetwood

A man was charged with drink-driving following a car crash in Fleetwood.

Police were called to a report of a collision on the Esplanade shortly after 1.20pm on Friday (August 11).

The incident occurred between Agnew Road and Dronsfield Road.

A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink-driving.

James Mcrae, 35, of Rothwell Drive, Fleetwood, was later charged with drink-driving.

He is due to appear at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 5.
