Jobless chef stole to feed his family
An unemployed chef stole a steam cleaner which he sold to raise money to help his family.
Dad-of-two Leroy Ismail, 26, of Woodland Grove, Blackpool, admitted the theft from the Wilko store on Dickson Road.
He also admitted the theft of headphones worth £35 from Sainsbury’s on Talbot Road.

Hide AdBlackpool Magistrates asked for pre-sentence reports to be prepared on Ismail.
Brett Chappell,defending told the court:”My client had lost his seasonal job as a chef and had not got any benefits coming in. He was in the embarrassing position of having no money to sustain his partner and their two children.”
