Poulton police are appealing for help to identify this man after he urinated in the doorway of a shop while on a night out.

Officers said the man was caught committing the act on CCTV.

The incident took place around 3.20am when the man, who was in company with a woman, walked into the doorway of the Traditional Sweet Shop on Breck Road and urinated against the door.

Wyre Insp Steve Bell said: “I would appeal to anybody that recognises this man or for the man himself to come forward and contact police.

“I strongly suspect he was under the influence of alcohol when this incident occurred but it is completely unacceptable and being drunk is no excuse.”

The incident took place on either October 19 or 20.

Police said they believe the doorway has also been used by other individuals for drug related offences on recent weeks .

Insp Bell added: “CCTV cameras are in operation in the area and anyone seen committing an offence will be investigated and the appropriate action will be taken.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
