Troubled airline Van Air will operate no flights into Blackpool today.
The operator has been forced to arrange its schedules on a daily basis following the decision by the Civic Aviation Authority to stop Van Air Europe from operating in the UK.
Van Air operated flights from Blackpool to the Isle of Man on behalf of Citywing.
Passengers due to travel today will be accommodated on flights tomorrow.
Services are due to operate on Wednesday with a Saab 340 aircraft operated by Sprintair.
It will depart Isle of Man at 3.40pm arriving at Blackpool 4.10pm.
The return will depart Blackpool at 4.35pm arriving in the Isle of Man at 5.05pm.
The carrier is working on schedules for the remainder of the week.
David Buck, managing director of Citywing said: “We apologise for the disruption this is causing to travel plans.
“We will do our best to keep passengers informed over the next few days. We know that the options available are far from ideal but we wanted to ensure where possible that we can provide an option for all passengers to reach their destinations.
“We are trying to contact all passengers but it is a huge task so we ask for your patience while we do so.”
Anyone with urgent enquiries is asked to contact Citywing’s reservations on tel: 0871 200 0440, opening times as per the Citywing website.
