POLICE appeal for information after cars damaged
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a number of cars were damaged on Auburn Grove.

Eleven cars were targeted overnight between November 7 and 8 and a sharp instrument was used to cause hundreds of pounds worth of damage to each vehicle.

Police have carried out door to door enquiries and posted leaflets through doors but that has so far proved negative.

Louisa Staffa, Community Beat Manager for Tyldesley, said: " We really want to catch the person responsible for this and we need the public's help

" I would urge anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspicious on the nights of the 7 and 8 November on Auburn Grove, or indeed anyone who may have directly witnessed the incidents, to come forward."

Anyone with any information should contact Blackpool police on 01253 293933 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
