GEORGE Galloway is to sue Blackpool Pleasure Beach for cancelling a radio show convention.
It was booked at the attraction for this weekend and Mr Galloway claims the firm called it off with only four days notice over fears it would be too politicised.

The company has refused to comment, but in an email sent to the MP said the contract allowed cancellation of events "prejudicial to commercial interests."

Mr Galloway estimates losses incurred by calling off the event stand at £100,000.

About 500 listeners to his "The Mother of all Talk Shows" programme on Talksport Radio had booked tickets to hear him speak at the site's Globe Theatre on Friday and Saturday.

Mr Galloway, the Respect MP for Bethnal Green and Bow, said: "If you accept a booking from George Galloway MP and it is The Mother of All Talk Show's annual convention there is going to be some politics in there.

"If you are going to cancel, then you certainly can't cancel four days before the event."
