A BLACKPOOL woman has been charged with murdering her relative.
The 37-year-old has been charged with the murder of her grandmother, who was found dead in 2004.

Sarah Cochrane, of Blackpool, is accused of killing Annie Skirrow, 86, and giving false evidence at the inquest into her death.

Mrs Skirrow was found dead at her home in Weatherby Avenue, South Shore, in April 2004. A coroner later ruled she had died accidentally.

Ms Cochrane was arrested on Wednesday after police received new information.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said Ms Cochrane was due to appear before magistrates in Blackpool on Friday charged with murder and perjury.
