The Porrit building will be revamped to make the ground floor a new council area with extended council chamber while the top two floors will be sold to a developer to make into flats.

The 1980s Chaseley building will be demolished and a four floor office block will be erected in its place.

The council plans to fund the new town hall with the sale of the top two floors of the Porrit building and the sale of assets - North Beach Car Park, St Annes, the One-Stop shop, Clifton Drive, St Annes, which will go into the new town hall, the council offices, Derby Road, Wesham and two depots on St Davids Road North.

A slideshow of the plans can be viewed on our home page.
