Volunteers plea for event walkers

WYRE folk are being urged to pull on their walking boots and support a leading charity.
Registration is now open for the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) High Peak Trail Winter Challege Walk, which takes place on November 23.

Event cancelled
AN event which was set to take place at the Wyre County Park in Thornton this Saturday has had to be called off.
Author Helen McGlasson, popular for her Frog the Dog books, was due to give a Storytime reading to local youngsters but has had to pull out due to a bereavement.
Brass band date
NORTH Fylde Brass Band are staging a concert at Cleveleys United Reformed Church, Rossall Road, Cleveleys, this Sunday
