IT may seem that the Christmas decorations have only just been put away.
But plans are already being made to make sure Fleetwood shines again this Christmas.
The dedicated Fleetwood Lestive Lights Committee are starting to raise the cash early to
provide a bigger, better display this year.
Committee chairperson Ellen Bater siad: "People wouold be amazed at how much it actually costs to provide festive lights.
"I know I was when we started to receive the bills!
"So we are planning early to try and collect as much money as we can to give the best lights display for Fleetwood."
The first fund raising event is a psychic night this Friday night at Additions in Bold Street.
And then on Easter Sunday, April 7, there will be an Easter Eggstravaganza at the Mount Road Methodist Church Hall. It takes place between 3pm and 5pm for children up to the age of 11.
There will be entertainment from DJ Simon Jay, prizes for the best Easter bonnet, raffles and lots of games.
Enrty is £2, refreshments will be available and parents are requested to remain with their chidlren throughout the event.
Looking further ahead, an evening of Motown Magic is planned for Saturday June 9.
DJ Dave Scrivener will be providing an evening of 60s and 70s music.
There are plenty of other activities and events planned for the remainder of the year.
