Museum hosts summer talk

FLEETWOOD Museum is hosting its next summer talk.

Taking place on June 11, Dick Gillingham will present Frederick Kemp - The Man or the Myth.
The slide illustrated talks looks at Fleetwood's most influential business leader.
Starting out as Sir Peter Hesketh Fleetwood's land agent, he rose to dominate much of the business and social life of the town from 1840 to 1870.
The event starts at 2pm , admission is free and early arrival is advisable.
The next in the series of summer talks takes place on Thursday July 9 at 2pm when local Second World War veteran Eddie Holt will speak about his prisoner of war experiences.
