UNEXPLAINED happenings have always interested Fleetwood man Stuart Leadbetter – and now he is preparing to pen his second book on the subject.
Stuart, 37, of Beach Road , has already published a volume of amazing true-life stories from the Lancashire area, back in 2000.

In that first publication, Strange Goings On in Lancashire, he reported on a Cleveleys man who needed the intervention of a church minister after his TV set kept switching itself on and off, and footsteps kept sounding in the house.

Another story concerned the image of a ghostly child at a house in Pilling, and another one was about a haunted office in Lytham.

Unexplained

Now Stuart, who has investigated ghosts, poltergeists and UFOs, is hoping to hear about other local incidents of the paranormal.

He said: “It is eight years since my last collection of stories so there is plenty of scope for new incidents in the past decade or so.

“I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who has experienced unexplained phenomena.”

Stuart has read widely on the subject and is an Accredited Investigator with a national organisation called the Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena.

He has been involved with groups in Blackpool, Preston and Liverpool and once even investigated strange goings-on at the Pricewise newsagents at Fleetwood’s Fisherman’s Walk.

Anyone interested can contact Stuart on (01253) 686707.
