Fleetwood Pier will not be rebuilt - it has been confirmed.

A meeting this morning between site owner Mike Simmons and Wyre Borough Council clarified that any development will be restricted to the land area and a pier out to the beach would not be constructed.
The owners also confirmed that prior to the submission of any formal planning application, a public exhibition to guage the views of the public would be made.
