A FUND-raising event staged to help two Fleetwood families devastated by tragedy has raised £1,000.

The all-day charity moneyspinner was held at The Ship pub on Warren Street last month in aid of the family of Jordan Brunt and Chris Murray.
Popular council gardener Jordan died in August at the age of 24, having apparently taken his own life.
Chris was seriously injured after falling during a concert in Fleetwood and is still in hospital.
Karlene Kavanagh, licensee of The Ship, says the money will be divided equally between the two families.
She said: "I would like to thank everybody who helped make the event a success."
The fund-raiser featured live performances by local bands Velocity, The Jeps, Pink Torpedos, Freeloader and Dragstar.
