ST Paul's Church in Fleetwood is holding a coffee morning this Friday.
The event is being staged in the church hall on Warren Avenue South from 10am until noon.
It will feature stalls selling books, cakes and handmade cards. Admission is free.
Massage session
THORNTON Library on Victoria Road East is staging a baby massage demonstration on Tuesday, October 7 from 10am until 11am.
The free session is being run by former midwife and nurse Ann Ralph, who is now a holistic therapist specially qualified in baby massage.
Ann says this form of baby therapy has a host of benefits, helping to aid sleep, improve the immune system, promote bonding with the mother and prevent colic.
Planning bid
ST WULSTAN’S and St Edmund’s RC Primary School on Poulton Road is hoping to build three canopies at sites within the school and have submitted a planning application to Wyre Council.
One canopy would link infant classrooms with the nursery, another would be in a play yard adjacent to a class and would be used for outdoor activities and a third would be at the rear of the school and would serve as a shelter for children during break times.
