NEW CCTV cameras will now be keeping watch over Fleetwood's refurbished Pocket Park.
The green space on the corner of North Albert Street and Victoria Street is looking splendid after last week's gala opening when ceramics created by local schools were also unveiled.
The Fielden Trust which has masterminded the project is anxious to keep it looking good have now arranged a CCTV guard costing £1,000 and paid for by Michael Reaper of Home Bakery, who also sold the land on which the park stands.
Trust chairman Danny O'Neill said: "These cameras will be recording 24 hours a day."
