Arrest made after stolen car found

A SILVER X-registered Renault Megane which was stolen has been recovered and a man has been arrested but released on bail, according to a police spokeswoman.
The car, stolen from outside a house in Shakespeare Road on July 10, was stolen after owner of the vehicle left the keys in the ignition whilst loading.

Time for coffee?

ST PAUL'S Church hall on Warren Avenue South, Fleetwood, is playing host to a coffee morning on Friday, August 1, from 10am until noon.

The event will include book, cake and card stalls, and admission is free.

Join up with walk

A WALKING Wyre Health Walk is set to take place on Saturday.

The free walk is all part of the council's latest effort to get residents fitter and to try and lead a healthier lifestyle.

The event will commence from the Frank Townsend Community Centre, Cleveleys from 10:30am.
