A VOCAL group hit the right note as they took part in an open day in Fleetwood.

Warblers on’t Wyre were among the attractions at the Wyre Clubhouse, on Lord Street, a centre which caters for those dealing with mental health problems.

The Time to Change event – which also featured a bongo band – was designed to fight prejudice about mental health.

It also gave the chance for local organisations to provide information about their services.

Clubhouse manager David Oxley said: “It’s been a great day, despite the bad weather.

“We have had lots of people coming through the door and we had 29 organisations here.

“We are now less of a drop-in centre and concentrate on setting up groups and working with other organisations.

“Outside groups come to this building so it gets lots of use.

“It means it is opened up to others.”
