Blackpool’s high street has changed a great deal over the years.

These are just some of the shops, restaurants, pubs and attractions that we have loved and lost on the Fylde coast:

19. WHSmith

WHSmith announced in December 2020 that its Bank Hey Street store would close in January 2021. Dwindling trade was blamed for the closure.

Wilko in Blackpool town centre closed as part of the tramway development before going into administration.

Can't forget Woolies, this was Blackpool's main store in Bank Hey Street.
