In the Hogan Plate, it was a mixed day for Kirkham and Lytham as Kirkham Blues beat Lytham Juniors Blues 4-2 thanks to goals from Fraser Burton (2), Aaron Ousby and Lewis Weaver, with Erik Zogo and Finlay Hurley replying.
On the next pitch, Lytham Juniors Maroons beat Kirkham Reds 3-2 with Kallum Illingworth (2) and Kyle Costin on target. Dominic Turner scored both Reds’ replies.
In the U16 Hogan Cup quarter-finals, goals from Gui Penaarwatt, Dan Fletcher, Dillon Ward, Dennis Robertson and Elliott Hammond gave Foxhall a 5-2 win over Warton Typhoons, whose goals came from Will Carter and an own goal.

In the U16 league, Lytham Juniors Home Heat beat Blackpool Rangers Seasiders 9-0.
Meanwhile Lytham eased to back-to-back wins over Blackpool Rangers. Sam Mitchell opened the scoring, converting Kai Clarkson Lowe’s cross, with Josh Serghi netting the second before Mitchell and Serghi both scored again before half-time.
Max Older made it five from a direct free kick. Tom Reardon scored twice, Tom Pinsett volleyed home the goal of the game and James Ludlam completed the scoring. Daniel Pilling again worked tirelessly, while Billy Gallagher and Caleb Griffith kept it solid at the back.
