Hide AdHead coach Grayson said: “There are mixed emotions because I was really pleased with how we played, in the first half especially because the shape was good, we were strong, we looked really good in possession and we got the goal that we thoroughly deserved.
“We were comfortable and they weren’t looking like causing us any problems whatsoever. I was really pleased first half.”
Grayson was left fuming after Vassell’s second was ruled out, a decision that changed the momentum of the game.
Grant McCann’s Tigers managed to get a foothold and roared back with goals from Magennis and Keane-Potter within nine second-half minutes.

Hide AdGrayson added: “We had a great opportunity to go 2-0 up, which would certainly have made it difficult for Hull to get something out of the game.
“But it was ruled out for offside and I don’t know how it was because Callum Elder is playing Kyle Vassell on without a shadow of a doubt.
“At 2-0 up, we’ve got a real good record of keeping clean sheets and it would make it very difficult for Hull."
