Over the last month or so, a number of clubs in England – many of which in the third-tier – have been forced to postpone matches due to Covid-19 outbreaks in their squads.
And while the EFL remain confident that the 2020/21 campaign will be played to a finish, there is a worry that promotion and relegation will once again be decided by points per game (PPG) if positive cases keep on rising.
