Stanley Park's dazzling autumn colours on display
The clocks turn back this weekend, and winter is fast approaching, but as many of us click our central heating on for the first time for months, Mother Nature is putting on one last spectacular golden show before the cold truly arrives.
The beautiful colours of autumn and the sights of animals preparing for a long winter have delighted young and old on the Fylde over the past few days, including four-year-old Decster Holmes, who was pictured throwing dropped leaves into the air, with the Cocker Memorial Clock Tower standing tall in the background.

Hide AdVisitors will be able to relish the 104-hectare park’s autumnal feel this weekend, with the weather set to stay dry. On Saturday, sunny spells and temperatures of 14 degrees Celsius can be expected, though it will be cloudier on Sunday, forecasters have predicted.
