Guides and Rangers from Girlguiding Lancashire West spent World Thinking Day developing their leadership skills as part of an initiative between Girlguiding and the British Army.

Last year Girlguiding launched a new programme of over 800 new badges and activities. This includes the Lead Skills builder for girls and young women, supported by the Army. The Lead Skills builder is designed by Girlguiding to empower girls to become the leaders of tomorrow.

As part of World Thinking Day, Guides and Rangers from the Blackpool area visited Fulwood Barracks where they completed activities from the Lead Skills builder. They also took part in other fun and challenging activities designed to test their team working and develop leadership skills.
