Wanted Fylde coast man arrested in Preston

A Lancashire man wanted in connection with theft and fraud investigations has been arrested.

Peter Swan, from Fleetwood, was arrested at Preston train station on Saturday morning.

Lancashire police tweeted: "Thank you to everybody who shared and supported our appeal."

Swan was wanted in connection with a series of fraud and theft investigations.

It was thought the 65-year-old was in the Blackpool area and he was also said to have connections in Thornton and Cleveleys.
