Honeywells, Eaves Lane, Woodplumpton, Preston
Honeywells began selling home-reared pork from their garage. As customer demand grew, the Gornalls began to offer meat and local produce from neighbouring farms, including lamb from the Thornton family, which they still stock today. The Eaves Lane farm shop was built in November 2003. Moving into a purpose-built farm shop meant they could extend their range and include: locally-produced meats from the butchery; a selection of cooked meats, salami, fresh pies and pastries, and local and continental cheeses from the delicatessen; plus a range of other goodies.
